I'm working on a series for December that will continue from Monday the 5th to Xmas. It's a poem by my Dad, illustrated by me. I have plans to do this in a book format and the comic strip is a way to do some prelim exploration and also make a nice gift for Pops. You can catch it at Looks Good On Paper at #gocomics! Of course!

Four years ago I started to work with Gregory FCA in Philadelphia. They are a PR firm that works in marketing and more for clients large and small. Today marks the 100th invoice for cartoon work with them and I could not be happier that they use my cartoons for clients in their social media marketing and other venues! Thanks to all the great folks there and also to Rich Levin who brought me onboard before he left for McKesson and consequently, got me work with those fine folks too. It has been a tough time for cartoonists these days and every channel is needed to keep the revenue stream flowing. Especially after I walked from the magazine that I had been with for decades and needed to reinvent my career in a totally new direction. I never looked back (never wanted to) and with people like these, there is still hope for struggling cartoonists to make a living in the field we love. You're the best guys and gals!
Here's cartoon 100 for a contract software firm. KImco's caption contest which won two great cartoon writers a cool $1000 each is officially over! Congrats to
Sometimes you can't help feeling nostalgic for the old days!
Would you like to win $1000? Enter the Kimco Realty caption contest with your vision of what my cartoon's caption should be! No purchase necessary to win, unless you count a book on how to write winning cartoon captions! There must be one or two of those out there somewhere.
Go HERE to enter! Check out my youtube channel to see me catch a 38 inch muskie in front of an audience. They applaud and everything. A lot of fun. Took the grandkids back to their owners today after a couple days of Grampy Camp. We met at Grandpa's Cheesebarn for the drop off and while there we added a photo to the GC photo album of us meeting the former Gov. of Ohio and Senate candidate Ted Strickland. Later we got to watch Grandpa cut the cheese. According to Mr. Strickland, he and Hillary were there recently and he had come back to get some more strawberry ice cream.
I caught a 38.25" muskie last night. A lot of fun AND I had an audience of folks in boats watching. To top it off the fish did an acrobatic leap into the air to the applause of the onlookers. That's always a nice bonus. This was last week's 38.
