Made it again this week on the list of faves at #gocomics! Sweet
Collinstoons.com is launched as it's own domain! The site will be expanding now to include a store and more as we take the leap off into the internet for the first time. In development for a year as a free weebly site. Now ready to take advantage of other options available to give you the optimum Collins cartoon experience to you the fan who demands it— and also the average web user who happens to stumble on to it by accident.
Of course this means I have to update my business cards, links, social media info etc. but I am excited as this is something I have wanted for some time. I have my favicon up there in the browser bar as you can see. It's been sitting in a folder unused, waiting but the moment is now and the place is here! Stop back often for the blog and new additions to the wonderful? world of Collins here on www.collinstoons.com. I'll keep a light on for you. A very joyous holiday season to all from me at #Gocomics and Looks Good On Paper!
Well, my very first website has expired with the end of the account at Websitesource. It has been ten years I think since I first had a web presence. The current site is on Weebly and sometime soon I'll upgrade it to the business level with a shop and all the trimmings. You will be able to buy original art and other stuff and I can even sell my ebooks right there and completely cut out Amazon and it's greedy grab of most of my cover price. I created the first one with the expert guidance of my pal Vinnie Spit. I'm no web guy, however e-books are made almost the same way with html/css code, so the experience came into use with my e-publishing. So long DanCollinsCartoons.com! Hopefully your redirect code will live on!
Dont forget to head over to Amazon and get some ebooks that will keep you warm with laffs this holiday! http://tinyurl.com/FunEbooksPublishing
I just love digital coloring and Painter 12! No muss, no fuss and just look at that shine! For Revitas corporation. You're not going to get it. Heck, I dont get it!
My first use of colored dots for a #gocomics strip. Courtesy of Phantasm, an Astute plugin for Illustrator. Runs tomorrow on #Gocomics!
Sometimes I just can't wait to post a cartoon. Here's a good example of what you can expect in my world on #gocomics. Check it out online or with the app.
