This morning I was informed that an old friend and fellow cartoonist passed away. Roy Doty was a member of the Great Lakes chapter of the National Cartoonist Society as am I. One may argue the merits of professional associations but when you get the chance to become a friend of your artistic idols there is no greater benefit.
He will be cremated immediately I'm told, so let's all raise a Viking toast to a dear departed brother in arms. Keep 'em "kerfluffled" in the after life Roy!
