Request for inclusion in an art book

Estate of Martin Kippenberger, Copyright permission request, Catalogue Raisonné of the Paintings Vo. Three (1987-1992


Dear Dan Collins,

I am writing to you on behalf of the Estate of Martin Kippenberger. The Estate is currently working on the Catalogue Raisonné of Paintings Vol. Three, which includes all paintings from 1987–1992. The work by Martin Kippenberger Untitled (from the series Fred the frog), 1989/90 is also part of the catalogue. As a reference image to this work we would like to reproduce a cartoon by you, which Martin Kippenberger incorporated into his painting.

I will be very happy to send you an image of the painting and as well of the cartoon he referred to by mail.

We would kindly ask for permission to use this image and for a reproducible image file (300 dpi, max. 7cm height).

The Estate of Martin Kippenberger will of course respect your image reproduction requirements and will of course mention the image rights holder.
